A popular critic is invited by a mysterious entity to a special screening of a new horror film. However, he is pulled into the world of the film, in which he experiences day-to-night transitions, non-linear narration, the staple horror movie tropes, and a Gautham Vasudev Menon who romances while dancing to Bollywood standards! To escape from this nightmare, the critic has to either quit reviewing films or find a way to defeat the spectre that has imprisoned him.
